How do I enable Two-Factor Authentication to my TelePortal or Portal account?

Before enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to your account, it is important that your profile is up-to-date with an active phone number that can receive text messages and/or voice calls containing an one-time pass code which will be used to login to your TelePortal or Portal account. 

There are different instructions for Enterprise Customers (TelePortal) and Standard Customers (Portal). Both instructions are included below. 

Please note that once 2FA has been enabled for the Account, all TelePortal users associated with the Account will be prompt to 2FA. If the user does not have a phone number associated with their profile, they will be unable to login until a phone number has entered to their profile. Before enabling 2FA please ensure all user's on your account have a phone number associated with their profile. 


TelePortal - Updating Your Account Information

1. Login to https://teleportal.telesign.com/

2. Once logged in, at the top right of the page, click on your name and e-mail. 



3. Under "General Info", click on the "Edit" button.



4. Under "Edit User", ensure you have populated an active and up-to-date phone number on your profile. Click "Save".



5. Your profile is now up-to-date with your phone number. 

TelePortal - Enabling Two-Factor Authentication on your Account

Two-Factor Authentication is managed on an Account Level. To enable 2FA for your TelePortal account, please have the Administrator of your account send an e-mail to support@telesign.com requesting the feature to be enabled. Please include the CustomerID and e-mail address used to login to Teleportal in the e-mail request. 

Please note that once 2FA has been enabled for the Account, all TelePortal users associated with the Account will be prompt to 2FA. If the user does not have a phone number associated with their profile, they will be unable to login until a phone number has entered to their profile. 



Portal - Enabling Two-Factor Authentication on your Account

1. Login to your account via Portal: https://portal.telesign.com

2. Click on Settings > User Profile



3. On the "User Profile" page, toggle the Two-Factor Authentication button to display "Enabled".



4. Two-Factor Authentication has now been enabled for your account and you will be prompt for 2FA on your next login.
