I am trying to build manual review logic using PhoneID. Which rules do you think I should apply?

It is recommended that you route users through manual review based on any or all three phone attributes:

  • Phone types: Prepaid and Non-Fixed VOIP

    • These have historically shown a higher correlation to fraud.

  • Carrier field

    • Gather intelligence on user behavior and apply rules around Carrier after you have compelling data.

  • Phone Number length

    • Check if users are entering a number that's outside of the min/max length.
